Ryan ventured into the real estate business in 1995 while he was studying finance at Northeastern State University. Soon thereafter, Ryan began working for his father, Edward J. Adams, at his mortgage note brokerage firm in Tulsa - a business that spanned four generations.

In 2007, Ryan changed careers and began working for his stepfather, Gerald Barnett, as director of client services at Barnett Investments in Bartlesville. Ryan continues to oversee the daily operations in our Bartlesville office, and also assists with compliance administration for the entire firm.

Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys restoring his Brookside home with a hands-on approach and spending time with his family. When they are not busy with various school activities and athletics, Ryan and his three sons enjoy spending time boating on the lake. Ryan also served as a volunteer diver for the Oklahoma Aquarium for 9 years and still substitutes from time-to-time as needed.
