Alex joined Council Oak Wealth Advisors in 2023 as a wealth advisor after undertaking an extensive training and mentoring program at the firm and completing his Series 65 exam.

At Council Oak Wealth, Alex assists clients and other advisors in developing financial and retirement plans and structuring and maintaining portfolios. He also assists in managing discretionary portfolios for the firm due to his extensive quantitative training.

Alex has dual citizenship in the United States and Mexico and is bilingual. He is originally from Ajijic, Mexico, but moved to Magnolia, Texas outside of Houston after his freshman year of high school. He is a graduate of Magnolia West High School. Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from The University of Tulsa where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Alex was voted president of the Student Investment Fund (SIF) at TU in the Fall of 2022. The SIF manages more than $7 million to benefit scholarship recipients at the TU Collins College of Business.

Alex, and his wife Haylee currently reside in Tahlequah, where Haylee is completing a Doctor of Optometry degree at Northeastern State University. They intend to move to Tulsa after her graduation. Outside of work, Alex enjoys church activities, playing the guitar, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
